From what I can tell, you don't have to declare global variables in DB. You just state the variable in the main program and it is automatically a global variable. Any variables/arrays you use in functions are local variables. You don't have to define your variables as in other languages (e.g FORTRAN). I'm not 100% of what I just said , but it's what I've always believed, so until somebody says otherwise.....

Okay, I didn't know about that global command. It certainly isn't in the DBPro help !! Never mind me.
