Is there a version that will run (create games) on Win7, but create games that can be played on lower level XP machines?

From what i know, but i am not sure about that, when you create a game on win7 in dbpro, make executable, it will run on XP, along with the win7

Cheers!

Ok, that's good.

I downloaded a free version of something and kept getting some error about memory or disabling UAC. I saw a version, possibly x10, that seemed to be for Win7, but I didn't know if it would produce games that would play on lower level machines.

I have 8gigs ram quad core and a GTX470, which would work for the x10, but the machines that kids would be playing my games would be far less powerful.

Only the Game Creator programmers have the x10 version of DarkBasic Professional. It was used to program FPS Creator x10. This version has not been released to the public.

Edit: I stand corrected. Evidently DBP X10 has been release as the FPS Creator X10 modders kit. You can get that here. Anyway, directx 10 will not work on Windows XP.
