In hopes of generating a good set of 10 to 20 statue models for the FPSC community (and some money to go towards my computer animation tuition this term) I'm going to put together a package of statues and release each model for 25 cents on the first day (they'll then be bumped to $1 each the following day) along with 1 free statue model that will remain free forever.

To this end I come to the community with this simple question;

What kinds of statues would most benefit you? It could be a weathered rock statue of an olympian holding up the earth, a rusted tribute to a renowned warrior, a dragon sealed in hardened lava, or maybe a space-aged chrome replica of a jedi knight.

Basically, anything goes here. I've got the skill to pull off relateively any style you'd like (realistic, cartoony, stylized, etc.). Each model will be accompanied by a normal map, and in some cases a low-def and hi-def version if I have time.

Let me know if anyone is interested. If not, no worries.

...very generous of you, RUCCUS.

...a realistic style ice statue, in the shape of a generic modernday soldier.

Concept: An unfortunate soul that got caught in an other-worldly freezing blast,
that turned his molecules into translucent ice.

What kind of game are you working on?

I would like to see some corporate art. Something you would see in the lobby of a large corporate HQ.

Brian

... and the band played on.

...breathing new life into a board game classic from the 80's.

Cannot say more than that, at this time.

Those both sound doable. Seth, keep in mind that Im aiming to make these models applicable to the general community, so I wont be going in and adding things like "Made in China" to the bottom of the model and whatnot. I can see a frozen soldier being useful to more people than a board game piece that looks like a frozen soldier.

Anyways, we'll see what I can come up with.

...no, I'm not seeking a board game piece, RUCCUS.

I'll be using the model in an FPS 3D environment.
