Hello all. I am an intermediate programmer with 3+ years C++ programming experience. I want to start exploring the art of game programming and need some help getting started. With Dark GDK, can I use tools like DarkBasic Pro and other modeling tools on this website to create characters, environments, sounds etc and then import them into Dark GDK so that I can program the AI, collision detection and environmental triggers myself? Basically what I am asking is if the GDK can render and load scenes and characters created with other tools that can then be altered to suit my needs programatically.

Sorry if this post is confusing.

As long as the models and things are in a format that is readable.
Such as for a model .x format is probably the best.
