DaZ and I have started work on a new commercial project entitled "Cinematic". It will be a collection of high-quality musical compositions and loops for use primarily in independant video games. Kinda like the DarkMATTER of music. It will be seperated into 5 volumes:

Volume 1: Orchestral
Volume 2: Electronica
Volume 3: Rock
Volume 4: Ethnic
Volume 5: Mixed

Each volume will feature several full length cues called Themes, and there will be several variations of each theme, such as action cues and loops, suspence cues and loops, calm cues and loops, along with others. There will be multiple themes and variations/loops for each genre such as Military, Horror, Sci-Fi, Epic/RPG, Action, Comedic, Racing, etc.

There will also be an FX collection in each volume, Which will be various musical effects such as orchestra hits, suspence textures, ambience, drones, pads, etc. etc.

We will be posting samples up shortly, but we would like to get any feedback or suggestions/requests for the library from the community so we can make it as good and as useful as possible.

Thanks
Aaron

Cinematic is not a good title as it suggests that the music is theme music from films. How about Emotive?

Aaron - email me, this would fit in very well with a forthcoming new product launch we have. Contact me for more details.

Cheers,

Rich: Cool, email sent

Necronian: Well, can't really answer either of those at the moment lol

Pincho: hmm good point, Emotive sounds pretty cool. I'll discuss it with DaZ.

Yo just saying hello everybody. I will be covering most of the rock elements to the collection for those of you making extreme sports or hardcore action games that orchestral music just cant express.

DaZ

In this life you have drummers and guitarists...the're both instruments just diffrent styles, only a few people can be a complete orchestra

hehe, well, orchestra can express hardcore action, but yea it'd be hard to express extreme sports with an orchestra ...Punk Rock or Metal would be more fitting for that genre
