Here you all go, excuse the crappy animations (as usual), I'm still not that good at it.

That looks great. Don't worry about quality unless your selling. And there is nothing wrong with your quality. C&C
One issue: texture looks like someone painted gloss on it. Probably just the shader though.

Thanks!

Here's a pic of the model out of FPSC, the gloss you see might be the shader, or it's how scratched up the edges are. If your going to retexture it, be warned, the map is uhh... ugly.

Hmm, I just noticed when you shoot it it plays the reload animation, and when you reload it plays the put away animation... I don't know how that happened... Oh well, you can't really tell. Unless you didn't notice till I said it...

Yor modelling skills are pretty dam good, but texturing needs learning. I don't say that texture is bad, but brushed metal isn't always the best thing for guns. Try creating solid texture with less highlights.
Grip too needs some editins since those lines look just like painted onto it.
But it's a nice model.

Best texture of the Month.
Yay.

Thanks, this, this was a new texture style I was trying, I guess it does contrast pretty strong.

:S Why does my browser lag whenever I pass one of you posts.

Another well-done weapon model

Texture could be improved, yes - but imho you found some perfect base textures usable for about any weapon.

The only thing I'd really ask you to consider, is to generally darken your metal textures. Darker tones are much more forgiving on missing detail and shaders look a lot more spectacular. And the scorpion coincidentically is a weapon, that comes in a lot of very dark shades: http://www.google.at/images?hl=de&source=imghp&biw=1534&bih=893&q=scorpion+smg&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=

Thanks @Vent!

Yeah, the texture is off a bit,But the model is great.

Textures are easy to fix/mod.

I would go with the 'factory fresh' look and let others mod that.

@Vent,
So, I've created a simple animation using 4 bones(excluding firespot dummy, you see). I can send you gun to your email, if you want.
- a small vid, for showing.

Whatever you say. Just send me an email with a request and I will animate your guns, if you want it. Don't worry, I have a free time.

I didn't make a pick up for it, you have to select it from the player start maker, or make your own
