Ok so the problem is that one particular entity (Colonel_X with an autoslug) shoots faster than a mini-gun (he empties a clip in 2 seconds) even though his rate of fire is 5000. This doesn't app up to me, but maybe there's a problem with the scripts? I'll put them here too just in case.

Here is Colonel X's Main Script, it's static.fpi:

Here is his Shoot Script, it's just darkai.fpi, I didn't change it at all:

Any help whatsoever is (probably) greatly appreciated!!

Im not sure but it might be that the normal scripts dont work well with the darkai scripts.
Try setting his appear script to appear-enemy-team2 and his main script to mainweapon, both in your DarkAI folder.

Dont set anything to his shoot script, this might work.

Boom.

Thanks for the help, unfortunately now the enemy does not shoot, he simply reacts to the shooting. I'm going to try placing darkai.fpi back into his shooting property to see if it works.

That's not a real Dark AI script.. hence the "pseudo" moniker. It's just a renamed strafe script and shouldn't be used in conjunction with DAI appear or main scripts.

Add a rateoffire condition in every line where the useweapon action is found. That will supposedly bind the RoF to the editor settings though, IMO changing the setting doesn't have a real strong effect but nonetheless he will shoot a lot slower and stop bullet-hosing.

Thank you Errant AI, you're awesome, and everything works great with the fire rate when I have my darkai.fpi script for the enemies Shoot property. Thanks.
