ok well lemme spill the beans. seeing as i cant find anyone else attempting this, i decided to try it out for my self. quicktime events seem to make games fun, exciting and interactive, so using my above-noobish scripting skillz i came up with this



the idea is to take the video from a previous game i made, play it, and if i press up it should play the next video. i dont know wat i did wrong, but any and all who help should feel free to use this idea for later games, be honest, the idea is cool

Take a look where your second colons are for the lines starting state=1 and state=2.

ok i fixed it now, heres whatit looks like



the problem is that it wont turn of the first video when i press up and then turn on the second, which is what im trying to accomplish. plz help

could you set up a trigger zone, have it play the first video, and have a script that will play a video from another story zone using activateifused?

thats a good idea i will try that if this next one cant function. since this is a quicktime video, im going to now try to get it to play a video then when the command comes up its just a picture of the last thing with a button thatmust be pressed

heres what i have, only problem is the picture wont show up, i can still press the button to play the next video
