I was looking at scripts to see if there was a way for the AI to 'see' what kind of weapon the player was using ( and not finding it).

Because,I'm thinking if you enter a room using a pistol and there are five 'bad-guy' AI's also using pistols, they should charge at you...however, if you entered with a M-249 they should run for cover.

Wouldn't you?

I think it's possible but it will requre a lot of scripting

I guess its something for the wish-list feature creep after 1.18.

you would need a way for the AI to read what weapon is in use and, a list of possible weapons that the player can get/use.

PlyrUsingWeapon=X

and

Fist=1
Colt45=2
Tommygun=3

etc....
