I know 6 year olds that are better programmers than 36 year olds. Horrible excuse And you are not supposed to give your age if you are under 18. It is a team request, So many things are wrong with this.... I would just edit it to [removed by author].

something I've done to try to learn the scripting language is to look through the forums for free to use scripts and then looked over how they wrote the script. I've tried several times to jump in an learn the scripting language without much success, but after looking over numerous scripts I can now at least look at a script code and get the general idea of how it works and what it's supposed to do.

My advice to you is to try this method and also don't be afraid to ask someone to help show you how to do some basic scripts.

<EDIT> also you just joined the forums yesterday so how long have you been trying to learn the scripting language??

Stop using your age as an excuse...

There's a lot of youngsters on this forum who can understand scripting perfectly.

I'd rather say in this scenario a younger scripter would be better than an older, just because of his sharpness.

This isn't serious programming where years of experience are needed to get a decent result, get a grip!

Heres whats sad. FPSC has so many features that make creating games very easy, but yet people complain about using a simple scripting language. I would KILL for a level editor and simple scripting language in Unity.

Making someone's day a little better because of one of my models means a lot to me.

I was hopeless with scripting when I joined the forums ,

then I saw people like a r e n a s, conjured and Gencheff who could script amazingly. I looked at their scripts, learnt what each command did and how they are used. Fair enough i can't write complicated stuff like they can, but I can write enough to get the results I want.

Morale being, start with looking at other scripts, ask for help, dont dive right in.
