is there any condition that will become active when a player looks at an object, rather than when he is near it. EX. i want to make it so a player looks at an orange to make him eat it

Yep. Try "inview=" or "pickobject="

INVIEW=1 is true if the entity is on screen.

PICKOBJECT=1 is true if the entity is smack bang middle of the screen.

Take your pick.
