Hi, ive seen that some people have trouble with jumping. i had nothing to do so i thought id help those with this problem. here is the code:

Hi Cetobasilius... (had to copy and paste your name. easier.)

Had a read through your code there. Nicely explained. I think TGC should have user related tutorials in categories in a forum.

Here's just a little snippet out of my game that handles the jumping:



I've just added this in the last 2 hours to the game I'm working on. Not a commercially professional thing. Just a hobby program. Each time I do a few updates I'll put it on the codebase.

I'm just using the basic old school parabola curve.

Hi Cetobasilius ... i started with darkGdk 2 weeks ago and i'm struggling with "Donkey Kong" . Thanks for your post it really helps me to understand how mario should jump.. ....great.... thx again.
