It was the second MP I bought but I never used it. The texture quality of the segments and entities is good but everythings a bit dull. The entities consist of segment-wide consoles only, there are no small items,

The characters consist of a decent quality Halo-like tropper but its only a single model with different colors (obviously made with multiplayer in mind).

By the time it got out there wasn't much community stuff made (like Cosmic Prophets spectacular Scifi Pack) so one shouldn't judge so hard on it....but I'd not recommend it. If there'd be an updated version for the use of shaders though, it could be worth it, especially The "rust" texture styles would look good then.

Ohk, how hard would it be to add shader's to it?

@ NickyDude
Thanks for the link!

@ Deathcow
Is that with shader's?

I WOULD NOT BUY IT! It is broken. Half the segs are invisible and the consoles have horrible collision problems. Everything arteria is bad.

Making someone's day a little better because of one of my models means a lot to me.

Haha ohk Design, but I can't right now, I have to go in like 15 minutes. But will be back in like 2-3 hours.

@ AJ Schaeffer
Oh really? :/ do you know any other model packs or community packs that have segments like the ones above? Cause for my game I need that feel for some levels.

Yes that is using Bump effect and with full shaders enabled.

I have sent this pack to Lee and some others to use bump effect. I believe they maybe re-releasing Model Pack 12 along with maybe others. Lee would need to confirm this.

The problem with some of the early packs that Arteria released was that they used JPG format and it worked well on the earlier FPSC patches. Then there were some changes in I think 116 and it made many of the packs using JPG for textures to become invisible.

I have checked some of MP 12s segs while using 1.17 and even the early 1.18 betas and everything worked well.

Using the most current 1.18 beta (8) The segments appear to work well. They work right in the editor. But click test, and in game none of them can be viewed. This includes all aspects of mp 12, from segments to mining entities. Plus the entities, even as invisible, have some bad collision problems. I found this out when I was walking around blindly, as I got flung under the map.

Ok thanks! I think I will buy it instead of MP1.

@ Deathcow
Ohk, so just add some Bumb Map effects to the textures? Then put full shader's?

@ Design Runner
Yea, so people are just sceptical sometimes because it's a 10-20 section MP? I've noticed people generally stay away from 11,20

@ General Jackson
Ok, im glad it works. There perfect segments for my game

I have nothing against arteria, the work is amazing. But MP12 is not working for many users. The outdoor pack and the ruins pack both work fine. Also the characters in MP12 work. I'm sure a simple patch would fix this, and Nobody would have a problem.

@Cross Hair Games

It is alot more work than just enable and adding bump.fx. I had to convert all the textures to PNG which is great in FPSC and then create the normal maps.

I had sent Lee I think pack 11, 12 and 13. Maybe 15 too but don't remember to be honest. This was something I had done for myself and offered them to Lee because some users of these packs were having problems.

Not really sure why some think Arteria packs are not good. I use them and think them good, but thats because I like the fantasy stuff that he does. However everyone is entitle to their own opinion if they like his stuff or not.

So if I buy this pack, can you send me the update you made?
I personally think his work is great, and wish I had use for all his packs, but I only have use for this one.

I wish I could, but I don't think I would be allowed to share the modifed files. If you wait maybe they will be released soon, but I don't know that for sure.

Steve from Arteria is here sometimes. He just released the excellent Shanty Town pack actually. Also check out MP20 if you ever need a medieval/fantasy town.
