Hello my fellow forum dwellers,
I just changed the starting weapon of one of the stock AI characters (the pistol one) to the EAI's M9. But for some reason, the character still uses the muzzleflash from the Sci-Fi stock blaster? does anyone know how to alter this?

Thanks alot,
Nathan

Change the decal in the gamecore/decals folder.

If I choose decal= (nothing) will it then work, crash or use a hidden default decal?

Because for my bow/crossbow wielding skeletons any muzzleflash would look dumb

Just don't use the rundecal=6 action when you do useweapon in your script. Also make sure you set muzzle flash r,g,b to 1,1,1 in gunspec to keep the dynamic light flash from being noticeable.
