OK, I'm extremely upset. I've been working on my menu maker for two plus months now. I was just finishing up work for the night and i hit save. Then to double check it saved. I hit save again. Right after I do, my laptop dies. I plug it in and turn it back on. Go to my program, open it up and its just a blank page. Like I never wrote anything. Can someone please tell me where my file went?

Thank god for windows search and dark edit. Dark edit made a .tmp file that got moved elsewhere. so i searched menu maker and found a bunch of files relating to it, most empty, but the .tmp one was my file with the 4000+ lines of code :p... phew was that a close one. I was about to start all over and rewrite

Consider backing up any important data from time to time, you never know when your HDD will die or something else equally critical happens.
