Hi!, I'm trying to write a script for an enemy that fights vs you boxing, but I have some problems...

The model I use it's the inmate prisoner of model pack 4, I add him the knukles (melee) weapon and then I made this script:

desc = Boxing?

;Triggers

:state=0,plrdistwithin=500:state=1
:state=1,plrdistfurther=10:rotatetoplr,movefore=2,animate=2
:state=1,plrdistfurther=500:animate=1,state=0
:state=1,plrdistwithin=20,rateoffire:rotatetoplr,setframe=8,animate=2,plraddhealth=-10,state=2
:state=2,framebeyond=8 60,plrdistwithin=20:animate=1,plraddhealth=-10,sound=audiobank\misc\melee.wav,state=3
:state=2:incframe=8,rotatetoplr
:state=2,frameatend=8:state=1
:state=3:incframe=8
:state=3,frameatend=8:state=1

But it really sucks!
The enemy's animation seems like holding a gun and and it doesn't hit the player...

Please Help!
Thanks!!!

PS: there's an animation for boxing?

This is not going to be easy. What does thre FPE file look like in the animation part?

Does it look like stock or is it custom? Open wwii characters to see stock for compare.

Do you have a model program that imports a X file with animation?

It might be easier to add your intended stuff at the end of the existing to get what you want. Replacing your new frames with existing frame numbers in the FPE file.

Stock characters have no animation for close combat.

The best you can do is using the "reload/throw" animation but only with NO weapons in hand. If you attach a melee weapon, they either stop to animate at all (but still move) or treat the weapon as a handgun and animate accordingly.
