Name:Ballistic (Hazard Studios posted a game of the same name. This is because I share two accounts.)

Dev: ZEALOT

Story:In 3025, a strange alien spaceship crashed onto Earths' barren, dying surface. The press hovered around the site for a few weeks, but soon people lost interest and the media began to move on. It was largely regarded as a freak accident.

But a few months later, an unknown race of creatures who called themselves the Ballistika, clad head to toe in sturdy body armor and wearing air-filtering gas masks, started to patrol the streets. They said they were protecting the citizens of Earth, shielding them from dangers. The authorities left them alone.

But soon after, they began attacking innocents.
A small band of rebels formed to try and stop them. They failed.

Now a full-blown war has broken out. You are a soldier belonging to the I.D.U (Interplanetary Defense Unit), your sole purpose stopping the Ballistika before they cause any more damage.

But as you delve deeper into the battle, the line between allies and foes becomes increasingly blurred...

Features
> Masterful SP campaign
> Vast, detailed environments
> Brutal and satisfying weaponry
> Epic 8-player MP modes

Back-story
I don't play Killzone. I don't even own a PS3 (I'm an Xbox-er). But on a camping trip to the Yorkshire dales, I was half-heartedly browsing through a copy of GWR: Gamers' Edition, when I came across an article referring to KZ2. I instantly knew that I wanted to make a game like it. And this, finally, is the result.

The transparency on you're tree does not seem to work.

No doubt, selfconfidence is great, but there is nothing epic, detailed or masterful in you're screenshot.

I would suggest remapping this scene and focus more on the landscape and the overall feel of it. (right now it has none)

The line between self-confident and self-delusional is obviously an easy one to cross.

Normally I try hard to ignore WIP threads by anybody including "studio", "design" "games" "production" etc in their nicknames* but this went a little too far - the snowmen just completed the joke.

*Funny enough that none of the BotB contributors fall into that naming category

I have taken what everyone has said into account, and will completely re-design the level on display. I'm also working on re-texturing a newer version of the enemy in the game, and I'll probably have a screenshot of it soon to see what you guys think.

Oh, and I'll remove the snowmen.

Per Wolfs' guidance, I have completely remapped the level, paying particular attention to detail.

What's next? Two wolves working on one tiny little FPSC game?

@HazardStudios, if you pull in your perimeter fence in that last screenshot and move everything closer together, the entities that you have will fill out the area better, and you'll get rid of all of that empty space without adding anymore polys. Lightmapping also adds detail without adding polys, so you might want to consider adding a 'sun'. You could get some nice shadow effects going from the silos falling on the ice and the center building. A specular map would also add a nice touch to your ice texture.

Here is a gameplay trailer that showcases some combat. Enjoy!

Also, I will consider moving entities around and adding specular maps.

You really need to work on that frame rate, and I'm not sure if your allowed to use the pegi-18 rating without permission

This site you directed us to, must be one of the places where people go after they've became bored kidding us with their vaporware WIP threads: Lots of logos, juice pictures, elaborate yet unoriginal boring stories and loudmouthed promises....endless self-dilusional loudmouthed promises.

Do me a personal, favour and ask that useless site to host this and all your future FPSC "projects" instead of wasting precious bites around here.

PS: the word is accursed, not acclaimed.
