Well hi guys.

Been a few months, wow!!.Like I said previously,I will cool down a bit and come back in a few months and see how things are going here, and give the forum another bash.

Not much has changed, and a lot of new faces around, new media, I am sure to have an awesome time. This time around, I am planning on using the forum a little differently and trying my best to avoid conflict that I am so keened to get involved with.

I found my self in bed the last few month due to been sick, and having the pins removed from my previous absence from the forum.
So there is a few people, I still need to apologize for not getting back to them and stuff

So without any further delays. What does wizardofid have planned for the forum this year?.

Well last time you might remember I said I was going to revamp concrete tunnels.Well I decided a few weeks back to completely redo it.So stay tuned for that, another couple of weeks of hard work lays ahead for that.

Another things on the list for 2011

Stock media upgrade 3
Tunnels 7 & 8 ( 50 % complete ) (Scifi and sewers)
Walls segments.
many many new things

Also finishing the segment tutorials and have an idea for a tunnels tutorial.

For those interested, in how "tunnels" are created here is few screenshots of the work flow.

As always enjoy and looking forward to all the feedback and comments.

Just been chatting to my neighbours teenage daughter and it turns out she's big into UFOs and aliens.

Which is cool because tomorrow she's getting abducted.

Glad to see you back!

You are one of the few persons that "think out of the box "when it comes to segment/map design.

Tunnel Segments will be great for my current project I'm sure I could do some dungeon stuff with it

I don't think you are talking about flat walls Anything specific you are thinking about.

Anyway! Do you accidentally have a mesh that would suit a gothic indoor ceiling?

I thought I E-Mailed you about it (I asked around for you're adress, I hope you don't mind) but I must have forgotten =/

Something like this would greatly improve my workflow (and the final visuals).

I abandoned gothic, FPSC simple can't handle that amount of detail.

Just been chatting to my neighbours teenage daughter and it turns out she's big into UFOs and aliens.

Which is cool because tomorrow she's getting abducted.

If you have been away for two months then be advised that v118 beta 5 gave us caracter limb detection with a shotdamagetype=x condition to the FPI.
Now, we can detect which arm or which leg, or if the head or torso got shot. (6 limbs)
I know it does not apply to segments, but it isn't limited to character either. (any entity can use this)
Anyway, it is the latest greatest improvement to the engine, so I thought I would mention it incase you want to spice up any entities you create.

Welcome back.
