Ok, I have tried this with both the 'Terrain' and 'Matrix' types of world scenery and both come up with the same effect

I have my Cube, with a camera fixed behind it to follow, and the user can move both cube and camera over the terrain/matrix with the arrowkeys. The cube should stick to the matrix and traverse its contours. This it does, sorta.

The cube sticks to the matrix, however, movement is very jerky and sometimes the cube seems to float a few units above the matrix

Is there a better way to traverse a matix? Or am i doing something wrong?

All replies apreciated ^_^

Do you mean that the bottom of the cube stays horizontal? If that's the case, then look in the tank demo that came with DB. It has coding in it that would fix that problem.

To fix the jerky camera movement, you could use curveangle() I think...

Yeah the bottom of the cube stays horizontal, but im not bothered about that yet.

I mean that as the cube moves over the terrain, both the cube and camera movement is jerky, like the cube bouncing up and down eratically when moving over a seemingly streight peice of terrain

i may have to use the curveangle() command, can you explain how i would do this? Thanks!

Hmm... if you have the examples it's example # 04 in the camera 3d section. I usually go off the examples if I need any help.
