I saw the world demo of that equilibrium (that's the way to type it right? check it here: http://darkbasic.thegamecreators.com/?m=download&fi=3f06448fda3fa2.27724953) and I was stunned... many different textures! How does he do that? I mean that I only use 9 texture (and using the set matrix tile command), because if I use more tiles from a 512x512 jpg, the quality is really poor. Now I'm just guessing that he used matrices because of the read-me (lol).

Now, my humble question(s) to you guys is/are:
- how can I multi texture a matrix with multiple bitmaps/jpg's?
- make an estimate of the framerate (My own program runs at 168fps)
- what does the "set matrix trim" command do? I mean really do...?!
- what do you guys think of this:
http://www.geocities.com/infernostudios2003/index.html
- can I change my nickname?

My most important question is:
Can you texture ONE matrix with texture files (like "texture1.bmp" and "texture2.bmp"), and how do I do that then?

please don't let me down!
Thanks in advance, Jurgen

answers:
-no, all textures must be from the same image. Howevere your image can be larger than 512*512 it can also be a .bmp making the quality better, so double the image size and use the twice the number of textures with no loss of quality.
-no idea, varies from pc-pc
-gets rid of the nasty lines seem on matrix textures(when the command is used right)
-its a very pretty picture
-yes goto the drop down menu in the top right hand corner or the page and select 'Edit My Profile'(at the bottom)
hope that helped

I'm sorry to tell you butuuhm... I can't use images bigger than 512*512 !

It doesn't give an error or something, is just doesn't work: I get a black screen and after a second or so it just shuts down...

Thanks anyway

thats probably your graphics card not being able to handle textures with sizes greater than that, what card do you have?
