Hello all at TGC. I'm really new here and happy to be aboard such a amazing community. I hope that my experience here will help me in the long run. I won't lie, when I mean I'm a noob at this..I'M A NOOB!!! Lol, but I have been around, Rpg maker 2000, 2003, XP, VX. Even tried Game maker 7. (if you ever heard any of those programs. All were great programs and fun to use, but this is by far the most overwhelming thing I've ever saw. As a kid I knew what I wanted to do, and I hope I can finally live out my dream here.

Take no prisoners, but take their women...yeah

Welcome @ghostboy40!

There are lots of people here who will help you live out your dream here for sure!! I'm living mine thanks to this community. Making a follow up to a fairly successful published zombie game (you can download the first game from clicking on my signature for the next few weeks).

Hope you enjoy using DBP as much as me!

@ghostboy40: Welcome!

I have lurked around these forums long enough to have learned DBPro and am doing what we all are doing. Working on a game that I want to play the way that I want to. Back in the day I used to play a game called Ultima Online. It was a great open game, where you chose how you wanted to experience the game. I then went on to the emulator community and created 5 distinct game worlds using the Ultima Online game. This was how I altered the standard UO experience and did it for the love of creating worlds and having other players play in them. Hence I came here as well to be able to maybe create a game engine to allow others to connect in an online environment to edit and alter an RPG world in real time and maybe even make a small profit from it.

Blah, sorry for ranting. I hope you enjoy using DBP as well and a small tip, if you feel frustrated, push through and learn what you need to learn. It's worth it. Right now I'm wrapping my head with trig style math's for a space sim rts I'm working on.

I actually can't wait to see what you are going to come up with.
