Call me stupid , but I am having problems in understanding the relation between bsp and pk3 files, how they work and how to make them. I have a few times mad map's for half-life, but I never used pk3 files. I also read web pages on it but I didn't understand anything about it (I think they where aimed at advanced mod builders) anyway, can someone please give me a ABC on this or point me to a site that will help.

At current I have no plans for it, but it's been bugging me for some time. Thanks for any information given.

DarkBasic is grate on the PC, but..
the Commodore 64 Basic 2 is the BEST!!

That's easy. PK3 files are effectively zip files that contain the BSP files and their textures all in a single package. In fact, you can use a package like winzip to view their contents.

Thanks
Ok, a pk3 file is another ver of a zip file, so, do I put the BSP and its textures all into the pk3 file or do I leve the BSP file out?

Everything goes into the PK3 file.

If you have Quake3 try opening the PK3 file with winzip and have a look at the structure. If you don't, download something from the net.
