Hello There

Just wanted to ask if anyone knew about changing the FOV of an enemy. I want the enemy to constantly be after the player, regardless of location. I have found a Cone of Vision section, but this is not what i want. If anyone could tell me how to modify this, i would be greatly appreciative

Thanks in Advance
Daniel

Mr McT, the view cone has limits...

If you search the forums there are some intelligent AI scripts that you attach to main and the AI will constantly 'hunt down and search' for the player...

View cone is not related to the distance ,which the AI can see within. It's an angle.

What you need to do is edit one of your AI scripts where there's a plrdistwithin=x condition.Replace x with a high number (in units - 100units = 1 segment).

If you're using DAI - you can use aitargetdistwithin=X incase your character is not targeting the player.

X, in the action above, is also defined in units (100 units = 1 segment).
