Me and my friend are two stupid fools, we thought we could make advanced action game, but since Bitter Fruit was too big step for us, we decided to go with something smaller.
So now we present:
Death takes a holiday
WORK IN PROGRESS
-You know what undead, walking dead, or a zombie means?
-So, those things hunting me, so they are...
-No, you are!
The game
Two new friends, reaper and a dying man are bounded together on a journey through the ``Ouroboros`` universe of the Detroit hospital.
This is action, adventure game without any shooting at all.
The Story
Hugh Lambert, was really a well respected man. He had a job, a girlfriend and a strong will for life. He was waking up every morning at the same time, eating bacon sandwich in the same restaurant. His life was pretty much the same, but he enjoyed it.
He worked at Detroit Axle plant, but due to the strike he had week off.
At the time when workers came to fix the ceiling of the DMC hospital which was damaged in the small earthquake that hit Detroit
about a three weeks ago, the Hugh was having lunch in his favorite
restaurant.
13:20
He felt strong pain in the left arm spreading towards the chest area, the heart pumping really fast. There was a doctor in the restaurant nearby, he gave him an aspirin and called 911 with his cellphone.
13:21
Everything was so clear, Hugh was ready to die, his whole life flashed by in the second, all ups and downs he had. Just flashed and vanished like dust in the wind. Leaving only memories for his loved ones, leaving stories to be told.
But at the moment of clarity and acceptance, his soul jumped from the table at the morgue, he was awake. It was clear like a day:
There wasnt anyone to reap him, or there was too much reapers that day, fighting about who will get his soul.
He was not at the hospital anymore, so-called Ouroboros gate was opened, and you could hear the sounds of the Styx river.
Waiting just for him.
What would you do, if you were Hug Lambert?
