I built my first compilable program that I'm so proud of I want to put it on a thumb drive and gloat to all of my friends who don't know how to do this.

The only problem is that nobody I know has these nvidia geforce drivers installed.

Is there anything at all I can put in the root folder with the application to make it work on any PC?

just put a copy of the physx drivers on to the thumb drive plus the drectX 9.0c driver and then install them on your friends computer to make what you have, run.

You cant have a protable directx driver. It won't work. Even if you had all the dll's together with your exe it won't work. Directx need to be installed already on yuor friends computer.

maybe how I worded the above make it sound like it did, but was meaning that you take the web install copy with you that then allows you to install DIrectX 9.0c on there computer without having to download it, I know it possible as I done it on a net book.

Dump the latest DirectX Redist and PhysX Drivers and have them install manually.
