It is possible to receive a demo copy of 3ds MAX version 6. There is also the option of downloading a demo copy of 3ds MAX version6.

Details available on the Discreet site.

I may have to phone France or download the package. Haven't decided which.

its probably not allowed for commercial use. So if you want to release your game and make a small amount off each one you might have a problem.

it's fully working... there is a minor clause
it only works for 30days, after that you'll need to setup your registration info.

That and the download is over 700mb, which for alot of people even on broadband is just a bit to big.

It can be ordered from almost any 3dsmax reseller. Check out the website. I have mine ordered, just have to wait until Discreet release the cd to the resellers.

HOWEVER, my local reseller has a demo cd of version 5 available.

So NO download, and free to try. Just an email to a reseller with your address and such, and a little patience.

You may have to do a little searching, but a visit to the Discreet website and 10 minutes of your time, is nothing for 30 days testdriving of 3dsmax.

I am happy with Milkshape... No offense, thanks for sharing your infomation.

It would take me 30 days to download the 700 MB

I live 30 miles from the town where we get our internet service, and 20 miles from the nearest town... My downloads are about 1-2 KB per second

I can't wait until college next year!!! Free T1 line!!!

It doesn't matter if it is confusing, as long as it works
