Just getting started, so haven't got too involved yet. As part of a feature, would like to add a delay fence to a hallway. Basically, a rolled up fence that a player can pull a cord and it will drop down temporarily blocking passage through the hallway, but still see through. Enemy would have to cut or blast through it. Dikes as a weapon option?

Technically i think this could be done by spawning the fence entity - what have you tried?

You would need to spawn the fence entity when the switch is pulled, set its properties to isimmobile=yes to stop it being flung around when touched, don't forget to setup its damage properties too...
