Newcomers DBPro Corner / using sky spheres and boxes

some can tellme something about the sky spheres or boxes??

In DBPro dont work the texture backdrop, I review the reference Manual and said that this command is now obsolete and tell something about using sky spheres and boxes like alternative, but i dont now nathing about this functions...

The idea is to create a large inverted (so the polygons are facing inwards) box or sphere and texture that object with your desired background image. The skybox is larger than your playing area so the player is always within the box and it appears that there is a sky background. Does that help?

...although you can (and should really) go one step further. The box only has to be as big as your camera cut-off. You always centre the Skybox on your current position, so you never get any closer or further from it.

ahh yes sky boxes look really really nice too except for one thing it seems to me that as i go from one end of my small world to the next i seem to see blue in the corner of the skybox...how can i fix this?

This is probably because the corner is just outside camera range. Either increase camera range or make skybox a tad smaller.

You should also turn off lighting for skybox.

If your mansion house needs haunting, just call Rentaghost!

your camera range wants to be SQRT((x * x) + (z * z))

where x and z is half the width/length of your box
