I know you asked for internet tutorials, but the things that seemed to have helped me the most have been books. I started programming in qbasic while reading Beginning Programming for Dummies, since it taught basic programming skills through qbasic. Beginner's Guide to DarkBASIC Game Programming is excellent because it does the same thing the Dummies book does, only with DBC, and it takes it to an even higher level. I know it's a bit much for just a book and CD (I'm a junior high kid, so I dunno how everybody else feels), but it's an excellent book.
