I'm trying to make a sky sphere as a menu background for the opening of the game. You know, the new/load screen. I've tried using the Object and Animation Load/Play commands. But as far as i get is a blue screen. Help!

Your sky sphere is probably out of your cameras range.

Try adjusting it with SET CAMERA RANGE.

[Edit] Or move the sphere closer.

Yea I tried that last night, and wasn't the range from like 1 to 5000? I tried everywhere in between. But it really doesn't make sence. Take alook at the file i'm using. it's in dark matter, it's called mm.x or mm.3ds. It's a sky sphere of a misty mountain (no mountain lol but thats the name). Now when u click on that file while in darkmatter it loads it and does a paneramic veiw of the area. It should already do this when loaded into dark basic. And i think i can back that up by looking at the files within that folder. Their a series of bitmaps just playing over and over again. And the .x/.3ds files just puts it all together and loops it. I should just be able to load and play.

Prove me wrong, i'm not saying i'm right. I've had this software for a week.

Post up a snippet, its easier to see the problem when we have something to work on.

I would be unstoppable if I could just get started...
