The title says mostly all.
I'm using the latest V1.18.
Should I Downgrade to V1.17 or V1.16?
What are the benefits?
The Pros and Cons?

I have multiple installs so for me I have v. 1.16 (Fenix Mod) v. 1.17 and v. 1.18.

well, why you want to downgrade? i think the newest version works better than the old ones (should be^^).

only reasons to downgrade is if your system is an older/slower one or if you use mods that dont work under v118 (fenix for example i think).
if nothing of this is your problem... why downgrade?

Well, shaders don't work well in V1.18, and there's that black segment error. V1.17's Bloom works quite well.

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=182605&b=21 for the black segment error. doesnt mention this because i always build dds with alphas.

didn´t recognised that shaders work better in 1.17, have to check that.

but water is great and ai works better, also editor and game are more stabilized and faster in the new version... well , for my machine.

If you're using WASP mod, don't downgrade as it is only compatible with 1.18...
