I was hoping that there was a script that would make endless waves of enemies. I was planning a campaign for my game and then after that have like a firefight/mercenary mode.(replay value). I've tried changing the spawns so that there can be 100 enemies spawned from a single point, but only 1 from that point at one time. However, when I try to demo it it makes the game go insane and during the test game creation process it crashes. If there is a tut. in the Game guide could someone give me a page number? I've read the table of contents but I don't have the time to read 266 pages of scripts.

That happened to me too, try placing like 5 or 6 enemies on the map and put their maximum spawn to 20 each and then for the max at any time put 1

So you cannot make the waves progressively harder?

And if you want the waves to get harder as you go all you will have to do is set up a script with the healthless=0:settargetname=(whatever you want),activatetarget. But make sure that your enemies are set to spawn at start - no, spawn after delay - yes

Also, for every other aspect of an endless wave zombie game and a bunch of scripts to help it, go to here:

Seriously if you don't know how to script this pretty much hooks you up. It is a lot of work though so be prepared.

here is another method to produce enemy waves, simple to get harder waves with this method, and it works in vanilla.

thanks to ched80 again:

i would personaly use a simplar idea, set your first wave at lets say 7 groups of 10 respawns using mixed scripts in Main, Ie pace 10, streife 10, extra @ respawns of 1 at a time

And also have sets of strigger zones, so still set them up the same way in groups and by naming the soldiers accordinly and set those names in the (If Used) slot of the trigger zones
Set the START script to (appear2) and the MAIN script to (plrinzoneactivateused)
And the DESTROY script to (fadecorpse)

to make characters fight harder change the (Rate of Fire) standard is 85, but set to a lower number for faster shooting,

And change health from 100 to a higher number, IE 500 this makes you shoot them more before dying,

change the speed setting to a higher number, this increases the characters speed, I set mine to 150, and they leaped over boxes very quick and landed right on me, Spooky effect realy! i was suprised to se them do it.

Remember, when using a big battle scene set the characters with associated names for the ones to be activated,

Example Jonny dies and so betty respawns, Betty dies and robert respawns, rpbert dies and 2 x tom respawns, 1 tom dies and 5 x richards spawns, the other tom dies and 3 juliet respawns,

And so on and so. weird example but it shows/tells the story.

by setting how things spawn correctly, your data of Frame pers secs will improve also

One of my bigg battle scenes was down to a staggering 5 fps and just sorting out a few characters the fps went up to 17, and so i fiddled again untill i got a good rate to run at.

Hint, i would write down what characters do what and what setings they have as it is easyer to look at a peice of paper rather trying to remember what is watt, it will do your head in trust me..

Oh almost forgot, you can also change the gun specsso they can be more accurate and deadlyer

to change gun specs, TOMMY is just an example, So goto FPSC files\gamecore\guns\ww2\tommy\gunspec

and adjust the settings inbetween Gun seetings and Visual setting, change by only a few numbers at a time and tryout so you can see the improvemts bit by bit

I'am not GOD but i can make you see again by taking my fingers out of your eyes and i can make you walk again by taking your beer away, So its nice to give!
