How do i make a character use a pump-action shotgun without rapid firing? I set the stats to look like this:

appear: Dark AI\appear-enemy-team.fpi

main: Dark AI\main.fpi

destroy:leavecorpse.fpi

has weapon: Model Pack 9\mcs870

rate of fire:100000000

shoot:people\shootclose.fpi

The way the fire rate works is the lower, the slower. At first, it confused me too.

Happy to help,
Akanto

I believe I should put a smart comment here, but I wouldn't have time to think about it.

WOW with that high of a rate of fire your NPC will shoot 1 bullet from the shotgun every 9,000 loops or something!

Game On!!

so 0 is rapid fire, but 1 is slow? That's strange. Thanks for the help.

No, 0 is not shooting at all I believe. I say that you might want something like 60. That should be good for a shotgun. The help at the bottom misleads!

Whatever you'd like it to be firing at.

Thanks,
Akanto
