That really great.
Please take a look if you can do the following,

The scene will be when the player enters the room there is a character on the other side greets the player by coming near to her and ask the player to follow him/her.

So the the player has to follow him to the control room.
Player has the controls of movement but not anything else.
So when the character taking the player to control room.
If the player stops, the character also stops and again ask the player to follow him till they reaches the control room where the character leaves the player.

I hope its not much.
I tried to to with waypoints and talk script and when the player moves to trigger zone character follows the way point but it does not stop when player stops.

try "...plrdistfurther=X:freeze,rotatetoplr" as additional main condition.

I will definitely take care of this when I get back but something came up and I am going to be gone for three days, Thanks for posting I will definitely see what I can do when I get back

Also, Maho76 might be on to something there, try that If you get tired of waiting during those 3 days
