I had just found out today that plys mod was discontinued a while ago, and that it has been added to project blue, A mod that costs (I think) 20$. Im not really all intrested in anything but plys mod from whats in project blue if im only getting it for plys mod. I like plys mod for the scripts that other people have made for plys mod (such as the new, 3rd person script). are there any loopholes on having to pay 20$ on 1 feature (plys mod) in project blue? Thank you.

$20 isnt much at all, its barely what you would pay for one workhour if someone would add what you are looking for.

@Cyborg ART

I do believe that it is indeed not much at all but i still dont see how it would be smart to get something that was once free, now moved into a 20$ package (project blue).

What is it that you want from Ply's mod? Is it something that 1.18 can now do or a feature that hasn't made it's way into the vanilla version?

Plys mod had several features that made it a "one of a kind mod" some of those features are:

-Dual wieling

-Decal overiding

-Third person view

...and so on...

Your best bet is to contact and discuss with either Plystire or hockeykid. IIRC, Ply's mod was integrated into Project Blue. If that is correct, then no one here can give you a loophole.

Ply's mod was never updated to work with the current source (to my knowledge) outside of Project Blue. So even if you did obtain it, than you would have to downgrade to a previous version of FPS Creator without any of the features the "migration" has added. But, weather or not it's the smart choice is irrelevant; as the developer of the mod has chosen to discontinue Ply's Mod, therefore your only option is to purchase Project Blue (unless you can get in contact with plystire/hockeykid as BlackFox has already brought up).

And just to clarify, Project Blue is $28USD, not $20.

Your only option would be to find a mod that already supports third person, or work on the good natures of the mod developers and kindly request that they have a go at implementing third person into their script.

Making 3rd person mod is harder than a script... With DBPro it's easy to make a 3rd person cam, implementing that into FPSC is harder...

Cheers.

God help me, Please.
