FPSC Classic Scripts / water controls in x9

Greetings forum members!


I have fpsc x9 v1.18 and would like to know how to change the height of water ingame?

You can't change it in game without a mod. All you have to do is go to here:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\scriptbank\waterscripts"

This might be different if you don't have windows 7 (64bit)

Open water.fpi, and you should see:

waterheight=x

If you don't see that, just add it after:

waterfogdist=x

There is a raisewater.fpi script in your "scriptbank\waterscripts" folder. Attached is a small map using the script.

tokyomage, if you mean change it in the test game, use the page up and page down keys.

anyone knows a way to reduce lag caused through the water-shaders?

i want it to put it into my game (not only for optics), but as long as the watereffect reduces framerate that much (while characters in scene nearly 10fps for the first and another 3frames for each additional), it makes no sense.
