i know you can have multiple lights... up to 7... with one at 0,0,0 that you can not move or anything...

anyone know of a way to simulate more than 7 lights... like if you had enemies carrying flashlights... or lanterns? i know you can texture-bake objects in 3D modellers... but i need something for a lighting effect that has more interaction...?

delete lights that are not needed. you need something like a visible check. this way you should be able to use the 8 available lights and get some nice looking effects.

that is a possibility... but my concern is having more than 7 interactive lights... like my post above... having like 12 enemies that are carrying lamps or torches... that are ALL visible...

i have seen similar effects in other DB games... i dont neccesarily need to use actual lights... just something to make the effect...

and about lights... is there a way to move the number 0 light?... i use position light... but the dang thing doesnt move?

People use plains as lights. They turn the gamma setting up so that white glows. They use transparency or ghosting to make some plains see through like light. That's what you have been seeing in DB.

Maybe you can find a lense flare example, that does the same thing.
