I would like to know if it is possible to use endorphin for animations in fps creator?

If so how?

This software looks great. Getting it to the game engine might be a hassle. Output formats in the fully functional version are: .asf, .amc, .bvh, .csm, .fbx, .v, .xsi

These would have to be brought into Blender or 3d max or maya to be converted to x-file format.

Yes it is indeed a VERY powerful program, and i have much experience
with it.

But i have never tried rigging anything yet...
Any ideas? Im no wiz but a simple start could help...

as someone who is an avid endorphin user myself, I can say that it's very difficult to do character animations from it in fpsc, as they're not already on the default fpsc character skeleton. I've done some stuff with bricks and whatnot though, like walls being shattered, and that usually works out pretty well.

The default FPSC rig is in fact the default 3dsMax biped, you can load bvh files onto this and mix them up with any animations you like, its not compulsory to use this rig for characters in FPSC, any boned rig will work.
However, unless your willing to fork out around $1500 for the full version your not going to get anything you can use as Endorphin LE only exports a proprietary *.els format and good luck trying to get any info from the request form they post. They only respond to business names in the 3d industry.
Its another one of those way over the top bits of software that you would be crazy to 'buy' for FPSC.

ok, i now have the enodrphin full version!....
well.... I have a couple questions...
1. when i save an animation as .bvh, 3ds max says that it is unable to find the right module.

2.how would i get a characters animation from fps creator to 3ds max.

I have maya and Mesiah but i find using fragmotion the easiest to use, and it also support directx format on import and export

and there is a free version.

I'am not GOD but i can make you see again by taking my fingers out of your eyes and i can make you walk again by taking your beer away, but if you take my beer you will not walk again

well im not a blender user, but i do know it can export in dirextX .X format, but the last time i tried to import an .X file into blender, it said file not supported and so i went looking for plugins, and gave up!

Autodesk Maya or 3d max is very good, as mentioned you can used the biped model but again No suport for DirectX file format

but you can export to a lightwave.OBJ file then import into fragmotion, but personaly i would import a FpsC character into Fragmotion and use the animation already and just add or modyfy it and add your own new texture to it.

So at the end of the day i would just use fragmotion

Also not to be mean, but this topic is in a Scripting thread and should be in the Model and Media thread

You should ask a addmin to move this post to the MODEL and MEDIA thread and you may find you will get more help/information from others there that are in the same location as scripters mainly come here.
