Thanks

It would have to be dynamic, therefore chances are not if you used a segment.

Now if you make an entity to use as a floor, that would be a different story. That is totally doable. But you may have some collision issues.

Do you have a model program??, If not grab the floor from the ww2 section and make an fpe file for that. You should be able to spawn it using a trigger zone.

Hope that helps

making an entity out of a segment is very easy, made a whole level out of horizontal lying glas.

but problem (as myke said) is that the entity-floor would not carry npc-characters, they wont step on it and will stop. also i have seen that entities placed on this start to bounce vertically (dont ask why, i dont know^^).
but player can walk on it without problems. so you have to build your level in the right way.

I have found that you can make an entity that a NPC can walk on, But it has to conform to segment rules. The most I got with out to many issues was a 2 segment by 1 segment entity. It was static. the rules of dynamic entities are a bit different and act different. sometimes I have to use invisible segments under the entities to make things work. Other times they would get stuck on the seems or any changes in height. Its a tough call and has to really be tested in your level to be sure the player can not do what you dont want them to do or expect them to do. If it can be broke, the player will surely find it. We as developer are so busy trying to make things work we overlook that the player may want to stray or will do something we did not think of in the level therefore going out of the bound of your objective, rendering the level useless.
