Anyone know of a good program for editing/creating animated GIFs?
I've got Adobe Photoshop 7 but it only loads in the first frame.

Barbarosa GIF Animator

Its free, never ending trial version only puts a watermark on the GIF if you load it, not just start rrom scratch.

Um, why not use Adobe Image Ready? It comes with Photoshop 7 (there's an option to install it when intstalling Photoshop)... I use it all the time, and it saves high-quality gif's for you, usually without colour loss...

It's a bit confusing at first, so i suggest gettin a tutorial on making them first...

But, once you get the hang of it, you'll see how it is much better than anyother GIF program out there...

Animation Shop is good but I wasn't able to use it for a couple simple things (chances are they hid the features beneath piles of toolbars and menus). I use a program called GIF Studio or somesuch to make my animated GIFs now.

A very nice %it, indeed.

Er, I know how to launch the program thanks though. My point is that it gave me problems with the GIFs I wanted to create (transparency to be preciese)
