I am posting a very simple question, probably a bit of a stupid question, but anyways, how do you apply the scripts to a specific character or object. For example to make friendly characters, I have a code but don't know what to do with it. Thanks in advance.

They may find me dead in a ditch one day, but god willing I'll be found in a pile of brass.

right click on the character or entity and on the left side you will see appear, main, destroy and shoot parameters. When you click on the 3 "dots" it will open the file dialog and you can select the script you'd like to use. Welcome to the forums friend.

have you checked the official manual in your docs folder? check through the whole files of fpsc, there are many things to check that you will need or that are really helpfull. as one of the guys here said once:

"working with fpsc means to more than 60% working OUTSIDE fpsc."^^

"the texteditor will be your best friend."

...

as said above, check the docs-folder first.

right click on the character> appearscript ally, mainscript > mainscript ally (the big one ), ...

hi,

place your code to a file (text-editor, NOT word oder wordpad!) and put that file in you FPSC/Files/scriptbank-Folder.
Then do what raymondlee306 told.

of course, maho76 is also right!

you can use either Wordpad or Notepad as it works fine, just save the file like this

myscript.fpi

and in the file type just select Text document

Or just search the forum for FPIeditPad and use this nice bit of software.

i have attached an image of my basic save using wordpad

I'am not GOD but i can make you see again by taking my fingers out of your eyes and i can make you walk again by taking your beer away, but if you take my beer you will not walk again
