Ok, so I know this isn't a request board and everything.. buuutt.... I was wondering if someone knows a script, to shoot a target, to open a door. Like, you should a power box or a switch, or even destroy an entity, to activate a door and open it. It's exactly what I need for my game! Can someone please help me out? Thankyou!

im pretty sure there is a default script in your scriptbank, just assign the desttroy and activate to any characters destroy script you whant to kill and open the door.

i kill character / entity and use this counter script to open doors




This is not my script .. found code on forums

i use a blood spatter for the counter

use the counter script in blood spatters "main"

you can name the counter script whatever you want .. counter_1

Then add door name that you want to open into blood spatter "if used"

you can also name the door any name you want .. door_1



set doors "main" to doorremote



Set character / entitys destroy to destroyandactivateifused

Add the counters script name into the character / entitys "if used" tab

kill character / entity and the door should open

Its not so hard. Just put to target entity's ifused field name of the door entity, and use 'destroyandactivate' as destroy script. Then use 'remotedoor' as door's main script.
