I have been on and off DBP for ages. Im about to start a new project. On my own so I dont have to worry about having to relie on other people and be pressured by time.
A few questions:

1)How do i split the screen into sections as if it was tiled. Please dont post any code that doesn'y help me. I am lazy so i know i will use it without even looking at it.

2)Come to think of it I think ill work out how to do 1) first.

It depends on what you want to display on those tiled areas.

If you want sprites then the best way that I can think of is to use a separate bitmap for each tile, then copy each one to the main display.

If you want to use 3D, you can use the SET CAMERA VIEW command to draw each camera output to each tile.
