Hello, I was interested in making scripts.

Like a custom melee that makes you not have to switch to the knife to melee the enemy, and be able to stab them with the click of a button.

But that sounds way to much to ask, plus each time I ask for a script (code), they get angry and say:
"Get off your @$$ and make your own god damn scripts!"

There are some script request threads where you can ask for scripts to me made. Some are free (such as this, others are not-so-free.

You could post your request there. What you are asking is potentially possible using some of the cinematic hand commands. You would use "getcinematichands=GunName GunFolder" to set the player's weapon to the 'knife'. I've not tested the cinematic hand commands yet, so there may be some weapon-swapping issues.

The best program to use for script making/editing is the FPI editpad (it is one of the threads stickied at the top of the scripts board), if you don't like the FPI editpad, simply use notepad, or some other basic text file editor - just remember to save your script files as *.fpi.

I would add the following to help you out. First, look at the attached download. It contains two script documents that will help you out. Second, take a look at the community guide(s). They have script examples for different things as well. Third, examine what scripts you do have to see what you have. Sometimes a script you may need only requires you to make a copy of one and modify it.

If you have issues with the scripts, feel free to ask away. You'll find most people here are willing to help you out. Some get skeptical if you don't show an effort or example, but if you can describe what you're attempting to do without people having to make a guess, you'll get help.
