Well?!

I have many reasons but here are the main ones in no particular order.

OpenGL and not Directx based. For some reason I hate Directx. I dont know why.

Doesn't eat an entire core when idle. This really sold me when I was looking at other peoples apps before I bought AGK. It is one of the most annoying things about DBP.

Future support for Linux. I hope this is the case!

And all that mobile stuff

Whats your main reasons?

To write games for as many platforms as possible with as little pain as possible.

From what I've seen, it's a job well done.

Game dev toolaholic.

Anyway, it has a great feature set. After I have my current Monkey project done, I will give it a serious spin and use it in one project.

Need it for our in-house game developments - so many ideas, so little time. Writing the app once saves us SO much time

I drink tea, and in my spare time I write software.

I recently started to learn DBPro. I got AppGameKit because many of the things I'd like to build are really best suited for handheld gaming, and with all of the platforms currently/soon to be supported, it's like magic!
