I figured out how to remove it once, and I believe it was part of a script, but I don't know how anymore. Could someone provide any info on how I might go about changing this?

Thanks,
Akanto

Delete the eyehud.dds file in your gamecore/huds folder

I make serious coffee - so strong it wakes up the neighbors.

Okay, thank you. Isn't there a script that tells when the HUD displays? If there is, where is it located?

Thanks,
Akanto

In the setuplevel.fpi you will find:
:state=0:hudreset,hudx=50,hudy=50,hudred=128,hudgreen=0,hudblue=0,hudsizex=1024,hudsizey=768,hudimage=gamecore\huds\eyehud.tga,hudhide=1,hudtype=2,hudmake=internal
This line creates the hurt hud, you can remove this.
The hud is displayed when the player takes damage.

You could also just make it transparent

I appear to have burst into flames...

I only wanted it removed temporarily, and start showing when the armor level was at 0, therefore, that would remove it entirely. I got it to work, thus, no more help need be provided, unless someone has a question.

Thanks,
Akanto
