And I had a phone all ready for it

I drink tea, and in my spare time I write software.

Eventually all these B-side OSes will fade away.

I think you should support Android and Windows7 as these will be the dominant ones together with iOS.

Damn. I work for HP and not even I knew that! Shame, as it was the best mobile OS I've ever used.

It was weird, very weird. On one day, they release a new Pre phone, and on the next, they give up on WebOS. I was really surprised how fast they've given up on TouchPad - it doesn't have 6 months on the market!

Saw it on CNN, bit of a bummer. I tried out a TouchPad and liked how the OS felt a bit more like a desktop than iOS, but I'm glad I didn't purchase it.

I barely even noticed webos existed. So I can't say I'm too worried about it. Far more apps for iOS and Android, so they are just more useful devices. I'm not sure what I'd have done with a touchpad, even if they did drop to $99

I guess it would have made a nice internet browsing paperweight. Do they do paperweights that browse the net? Everything else seems to have a web browser built into it. Hey maybe that's a path for HP to take, the iWeight, keeps your papers from blowing around while providing flash support.

After reading the possibility to port Android to the Touchpad, I bought a 32GB for $150. Pretty good deal, I think.

I liked the WebOs interface but the Android thing, I placed the order. Let's see what I can do with it when it arrives...

Cheers.
