Okay, I know it's possible, as I saw a program that did it (though the fellow didn't post the source if I recall correctly, can't find the thread again.)

How is it possible to minimize your DB Pro program's window to the system tray? (the right side of the taskbar). So you've got one of those neat little icons on the right, instead of a minimized window on the left on the start/task bar.

I think he may have been using a dll, or some plugin. I may be wrong but I don't know of a direct command in dbp to show a SystemTray Icon, but you can do it easily from C++/VB6/VB.NET

Hmm. Looks like Mr. Toad did a DLL for it, but darned if I can get his example to work. 'Invalid # of brackets' error pops up.

Maybe it's out of date for the latest version.

I've have a look later, although I doubt its out of date. I do need to add the default resource DLL though.
What do you have your concatenation symbol set to ? If its not set to be a _ character, then you'll certainly get that error.

Concatenation! I see what you mean, I deleted the _ s from the example program and got it all on one line and the program ran.

Didn't know anything about concatenation symbols.

Though for some reason though the program runs I can't seem to get a tray icon.

Hrm. Default resource DLL? I've downloaded a few of yours, the memory, the hard disk routines, and the system tray .dll, stuck them in the plug-ins user folder?

The resource file isn't on my web site. However, it is availiable on the old one at :

http://www.nickk.nildram.co.uk/Plug-Ins/ResInfo.dll

This file can go anyway, hence the last parameter in the systemtray command - a full path must be given.
