I've just finished a small Milkshape vertex modeling tutorial ..... modeling a low poly human head.

I prefere modeling from primitives since I think it give better control about polycount but nice tutorial anyway

Only thing I dont like on that head is transition between face and hairs on the sides ...it make top of the head looks fat from angle. Two or three more polygons + adjusting position of few others would solve that I think:
