Hello scripters,

Here is my problem:

I built a three-story level, and put water in the bottom floor. I put two enemy characters in the water, two on the floor above that one, and an ally and the player on the top floor. When I tested the game, the DAI characters jittered and couldn't move. When I fired at them, it sounded like I was shooting at water. I want to make a game that makes use of both DAI and water, is there a way for me to fix this?

Thank you,
Captain Coder

jittering around seems that the script dont know what to do when more than one state with different movement-actions is true.

you hear water even when you fire on the enemies in the first floor??? standard when you fire on the ones in the water, thats true.

have you tried to set some waypoints on your map? helps in some cases. never heard of problems with dai and water, so it couldnt be another cause?
try deleting the two buddies in the water and look if the others move correctly or delete the waterzone to check if you havent done that yet.

I did try deleting the water zone, and then DAI worked. I never thought about trying to delete the guys in the water. I'll try it out soon. Does any one else have an explanation?

Thank you!

Well, I not sure if I ever tested the combination of the two. What could be happening is that the water plane is being mapped out as a Dark AI obstacle, though this seems rather doubtful to me.

Mind position a few pictures of the area for me (with the AI and Water in) ?
